Day 4

Explore the Keys

The Florida Keys are home to some of the best diving spots in the country—and this half-day, private tour from Miami takes all the stress out of embarking on a tropical excursion. Meet your guide at your hotel at a time that works best for you, and set off: it’s less than an hour’s drive to Key Largo. Upon arrival, grab your gear and explore John Pennekamp State Park: the first underwater state park in the country. Finally, head to Alabama Jack’s for a restorative bite (own expense).

The shallow water of John Pennekamp State Park, also known as the National Marine Sanctuary, have an abundance of soft and hard corals and is rich with tropical fish. Let your guide take you on a short walk through a coastal jungle and explore an indoor wildlife exhibit.
